How the Kerr Collar Makes Football Safer – WGN TV

CHICAGO — Bogan High School football player, Andre Smith, died after suffering a head injury on the last play of a game back on October 22nd.

He collapsed on the sidelines and later died. He was 17-years-old.

This is just one of a number of sad stories about serious injuries on the football field.

Dr. Patrick Kerr joins WGN Morning News to talk about a new device that he says makes football safer.
